Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Garden City, NY, for a Jewelry Sales Associate. Responsibilities include assisting customers in selecting jewelry pieces, providing detailed product information, offering exceptional customer service, and handling retail transactions accurately. The role also involves maintaining displays, ensuring the store is presentable, and meeting or exceeding sales goals through professional selling techniques.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Retail Sales and Customer Service
- In-depth Product Knowledge, especially in fine jewelry
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to provide outstanding customer interactions
- Proven ability to meet or exceed Sales targets
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and build rapport with clients
- Prior experience in jewelry sales or retail is a plus
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail management systems are beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in jewelry or gemology are a plus
