Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Jewelry Line Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our jewelry inventory and support the coordination of product movement between our office, warehouses, and sales representatives. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring strong organizational skills, independence, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
The Jewelry Line Manager plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting sales operations, and ensuring that collections are properly tracked, distributed, and prepared for internal and external use.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all jewelry inventory within the office
- Track incoming and outgoing merchandise across multiple locations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of transfers
- Perform routine inventory audits and reconciliations
- Maintain organization and presentation of physical inventory
Product Movement & Distribution
- Coordinate and manage jewelry movement between the office, warehouses, and sales representatives
- Ensure items are allocated correctly based on sales needs and availability
- Prepare jewelry for shipment, appointments, trunk shows, or internal transfers
- Track the status and location of pieces at all times
Collections Management
- Maintain awareness of product collections and how pieces relate within each collection
- Support organization and grouping of merchandise according to collection structure
- Assist with maintaining collection integrity during distribution and transfers
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule appointments with sales representatives
- Coordinate availability of jewelry for meetings, appointments, and events
- Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding product availability
Administrative & Systems Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory tracking systems using Excel and internal software
- Communicate regularly using Microsoft Outlook
- Ensure accurate documentation of inventory movement and updates
- Support operational reporting as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Experience working with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable working with inventory systems and digital tracking tools
- Professional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience managing jewelry inventory or working in the jewelry industry
- Knowledge of precious and semi-precious gemstones
- Understanding of how jewelry collections are structured and managed
- Experience coordinating logistics or inventory distribution across multiple locations
