About This Opportunity As an Operations Team Lead, you’ll assist in leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and cost objectives. Essential Functions You’ll have opportunities to speak up, solve problems, lead others, and be an owner every day as you….. Back up the Operations Supervisor in their absence. Ensure team members, including temporary employees, understand job instructions, safety requirements, and quality guidelines. Identify, document, and develop solution(s) to workflow problems and issues. Lead and coordinate all teams and/or activities for the shift to ensure safety, quality, customer expectations, and cost objectives are met. Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Provide the Operations Supervisor with feedback on team member performance. Report customer service, employee safety, equipment, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel. Review daily team assignments to ensure that each team is staffed appropriately. Update and maintain the schedule to meet customer demand/expectation and/or any information tracking for reports and spreadsheets. Skills and Abilities The ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment. The ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a physically demanding position – constant lifting. The ability to consistently lift up to 50 - 75lbs. The ability to team-lift up to 250 lbs occasionally Strong communication skills. Flexible availability for overtime work. Who We Hire?
