MillerKnoll is looking for an. Account Manager to join our Contract Operations team. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting high-volume, high visibility MillerKnoll Dealer, Dealers, B2B accounts and projects on all aspects of orders from discovery through punch-list. This role reports to the Director of Contract Operations. What you’ll do: You'll have opportunities to design, achieve and build relationships every day as you... Establish exceptional working relationships with collaborators, including clients, manufacturers, dealers/purchasing agents as well as Ancillary sales and operations teams. Manage full life-cycle of activity including providing pricing and quotes, placing orders, tracking and monitoring for ship dates, identifying and resolving discrepancies and changes to provide an exceptional client experience. Evaluate and report on projections against incoming orders. Create presentations, bids and quotes with proposed product solutions. Partner with manufacturers and clients on bespoke projects to develop the best solution in both design and budget. Provide clients and sales teams with detailed status reports on all account activity including open orders, proposals, projects and unresolved issues. Perform account maintenance and ongoing preservation of the customer relationship. Maintain up to date client information & provide reporting as requested. Respond quickly to client needs while following established procedures. Monitor factory production and shipping schedules to identify and resolve timeline challenges. Communicate with Inventory Planners for all order and inventory inquiries. Communicate with clients and sales teams to answers questions and provide order status information. Manage operations support staff where applicable, mentoring and collaborating to ensure all needs of the client are met in a timely and professional manner. Manage small to medium projects in collaboration with Sales Exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential materials and matters as well as complex sales challenges. Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Does this sound like you? This might be you if you have the following skills and abilities... 5 years of account management experience in contract or dealer setting 3-5 years contract furniture industry experience or equivalent Exceptional organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team ensuring efficiency of projects from start to finish. Ability to read and understand floor plans and other related technical drawings. Ability to manage and mentor a team. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce.com, or similar systems Strong understanding of operational and logistical processes required to purchase and deliver goods As an Account Manager, you'll be eligible for DWR's comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, parental leave, green transit subsidy and more. A starting compensation range for this role is $68,550.00 - $85,725.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
