ART ADMINISTRATOR

Branded Custom Sportswear, Inc. is a Licensee of NIKE. We manufacture and market decorated Collegiate Licensed clothing and accessories to the College Bookstore market, nationally. We are a division of Design Resources, Inc. located in Overland Park, KS comprised of five entities which are all related to the Apparel Industry. Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the BCS Production Art Team and our decoration facilities. This position will interface with our partners on a daily basis.
• Manage art file library and distribute files on a daily basis to external partners as needed.
• Respond to questions from outside partners and help to trouble shoot issues with art.
• Work with outside vendors to manage and deliver art files to them as needed.
• Run scripts on art files to create images for various parts of the business workflow on a daily basis.
• Work with Proofing Coordinator to track volume of uploads and report on same.
• Work with internal teams to assist in updates of logo library.
• Assist in proofing of art for orders, ensuring that it meets production requirements.
• Assist in training as needed for internal team members.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of current BCS production processes and procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of screen print apparel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and interface with internal and external partners.
• Desire to learn new tasks and grow skill sets.
• Self-starter with the ability to take projects from start to finish.
This position reports to the Art Manager.
