Key Responsibilities
- Studio Operations: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of our Chelsea office, ensuring the space is organized, welcoming, and operating seamlessly.
- Financial & Project Tracking: Utilize Design Manager software heavily to oversee project accounting, invoicing, purchasing workflows, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Administrative Support: Work closely with Jacob to manage schedules, track business development initiatives, and handle high-level administrative needs.
- Vendor & IT Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, IT support, building management, and procurement logistics.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine, document, and implement internal operational processes to help our design team work more efficiently.
- Experience: Proven background in operations, office management, or business administration, preferably within the interior design or architecture industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity and hands-on experience with Design Manager is required. Candidates without Design Manager experience will not be considered.
- Execution & Reliability: You are deeply dependable and consistent. You don't let things slip through the cracks and you take pride in seeing tasks through to completion.
- Range & Flexibility: You are comfortable wearing multiple hats, pivoting from high-level operational strategy to hands-on studio tasks without missing a beat.
- Culture Add: You possess a great attitude. You are pleasant to be around, communicative, and excited to collaborate in-person 5 days a week.
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus tied to firm success and individual performance.
