Wage Range: $26-29 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

The Shop Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and preparing sheet metal components for field installation. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal parts under supervision.
- Ability to operate shop tools and machinery such as shears, brakes, and hand tools.
- Support other fabricators in layout and preparation of materials.
- Perform tasks such as fabricating, insulating, cleaning, and organizing fabricated parts.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting shop equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload materials and assist with staging for delivery.
- Participate in on-the-job training and safety meetings.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sheet metal fabrication shop preferred
- Leadership with directing and assisting others
- Basic math and measurement skills and ability to perform hand layout on demand
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Experience with pre-fabrication of duct systems
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Indoor fabrication shop setting.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles.
- Requires safety equipment, including gloves, goggles, and steel-toed boots.
