At Silvermine Subs, we serve fresh, made-to-order sandwiches with great service and even better energy. We’re looking for a dependable, self-motivated team member who can take the lead in the shop during their shift — preparing food, helping customers, and keeping things running smoothly.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for someone who can work independently and take ownership of the store’s daily operations during their shift. While you’re not a manager, you’ll often be the primary person in the shop, with support from a delivery driver who assists with sandwich-making during busy times.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare subs to order with accuracy and efficiency
- Deliver excellent customer service at the counter or over the phone
- Slice meats and cheeses using a commercial slicer
- Manage sandwich prep, order organization, and overall store cleanliness
- Coordinate with the delivery driver to get orders out on time
- Restock ingredients and maintain prep stations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Help open or close the store (based on shift)
