Wage Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hourly (Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Salary may be adjusted depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate)

Overview
The Commercial HVAC Project Technician is responsible for upholding the Safety of those we work with and around, the Quality of the services we provide, and the achievement of our Profitability goals as they relate to the Service and Projects Departments.
This position is responsible for assisting in the professional installation, start-up, commissioning, retrofit, and overhaul of commercial HVAC, hydronic, and boiler systems. The Commercial HVAC Project Technician applies knowledge of refrigeration theory, airflow principles, combustion systems, electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, and control systems to ensure systems are installed and operating per manufacturer specifications and project documents.

Duties And Responsabilities
- Installation and replacement of RTUs, split systems, mini-splits, VAV systems, exhaust and supply fans, unit heaters, condensing units, heat pumps, and air handlers.
- Boiler installation, piping, and start-up.
- Hydronic system installation including pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, glycol systems, and snow melt systems.
- Refrigerant piping layout, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging.
- Sheet metal transitions, curb adapters, duct modifications, and equipment setting.
- Gas piping installation and testing.
- Hydronic piping, soldering, threading, grooving, and system flushing.
- Plumbing-related work including condensate drains, water supply connections, backflow considerations, and proper venting.
- Crane rigging and Crane commands.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical schedules, wiring diagrams, and control sequences.
- Start-up, troubleshooting.
- 3 years commercial HVAC/Plumbing Install experience
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification preferred (Not required)
- Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job
