What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Design LAB: Learn + Build?
Opportunity
For an upbeat, creative, and detail-oriented jack-of-all-trades to support our organization. This role is support for the Executive Director and Education Manager and will report to both individuals. This position is 10 hours a week with the opportunity for additional hours as needed. There is also a potential for this position to become full-time in the future.
Communication/Social Media
● Manage social media accounts
● Create meaningful social media content
● Schedule and manage social media content
● Track social media stats - engagement, reach, impressions, likes, follows, etc.
● Respond to messages and comments on social media platforms in a timely manner
Programming
● Assist with programming committee and events
● Add events to the website
● Submit to local calendars
Events
● Assist with the planning and execution of events as they occur
● May is essential to the success of the organization and additional hours may be requested
Office Needs
● Assist with maintaining a clean and welcoming office environment, including cleaning, tidying, and organization
● Help where needed with various tasks
Qualifications
● Proven written and verbal communication skills
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● Hyper-organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
● Commitment to professional growth
● Proven self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
● Valid Driver’s License & ability to lift 30 lbs

Design LAB is a change-making non-profit that serves the Cincinnati area. The educational program allows the organization to serve over 2000 students each year and creates change by giving underserved students an experience that will open them up to career opportunities while improving soft skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the built environment.
