Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer located in Annapolis, MD, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating design concepts, space planning, collaborating on construction drawings, and coordinating architectural and interior design elements. Additional responsibilities include sourcing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), managing project timelines, and communicating effectively with clients and vendors to bring design visions to life.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Understanding of Architecture and the creation of Construction Drawings
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and procurement
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and familiarity with local building codes is a plus
