We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Architectural Designer who is organized, innovative, and deeply passionate about design. In this role, you will play a key leadership part in bringing thoughtful, functional, and high-performing spaces to life. The Senior Architectural Designer will lead the design and development of some of the top-performing dental offices in the country, overseeing projects from initial concept through completion. This includes guiding design direction, managing project documentation, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and at the highest standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs based on client goals, input, and feedback
• Participate in programming, schematic design, and design development phases
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to communicate architectural design and construction intent
• Oversee and coordinate the work of the design team to ensure project goals, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met
• Review drawings and design documents produced by junior designers, providing detailed feedback and making necessary revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Mentor and coach junior designers, supporting their professional development and fostering continuous improvement in design skills and performance
• Collaborate with managers, production staff, marketing, and clients to support projects from concept through construction
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project goals and client expectations are met
• Present design proposals and project details to clients, clearly explaining scope, costs, and objectives
• Assess project feasibility by researching design requirements, technology, regulations, and market considerations
• Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings
• Stay current on design trends, construction practices, and emerging technologies through industry research and professional development
• Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design or a related field
• Professional Engineer licensure required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Computer-aided design (CAD) software like Revit and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as Enscape, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Bluebeam, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Master understanding of building codes, inspection regulations, and construction methods
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
