The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Administrative Assistant 2 to our Design Cuisine team in Arlington, VA. As an administrative assistant 2, you will have the opportunity to provide a wide range of administrative support to a diverse team of professionals.
What you'll be doing:
- Answering incoming calls, screening and directing calls to appropriate contact or voicemail.
- Greeting and assisting visitors.
- Handling administrative tasks related to internal meetings and events, including managing internal conference and training room bookings, food and beverage arrangements, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Handles administrative tasks related to external meetings and events, including sourcing external meeting spaces, contract negotiations, and arranging food and beverages.
- Other tasks as needed.
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- At least one years’ experience in a related role.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
