Responsibilities
The Wire Operator must be aware of and comply with all procedures and work instructions pertaining to this position. The essential functions of this position are:
- Ability to have a basic understanding of the operation and capabilities of machines in the department.
- Determining the proper tooling is needed based on the job order being manufactured.
- Test and measure the product using calibrated measuring devices.
- Performing in-process inspections using the necessary tooling.
- Complete Work Orders according to the production schedule.
- Complete lot cards and any other required documents provided in the Job Packet.
- Complete any additional pertinent quality records.
- Reporting any issues or damages with the machinery/tooling to the Wire Department Supervisor.
- Safely perform all duties while complying with all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- General housekeeping may be required as necessary.
Hours/Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Full-Time 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Summer Hours (June - August): Monday-Thursday
Full-Time 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Paid Breaks
- 9:00 AM (10 Minutes)
- 2:00 PM (10 Minutes)
Lunch Break (Unpaid)
- 12:00 PM (30 Minutes)
