The primary focus for the Warehouse Clerk is to aid in processing orders, sort merchandise, maintain supplies, verify inventory, and process return materials authorizations (RMAs). During work hours, punctuality and time management are important. Because of safety concerns and the importance of efficiency, great attention to detail in following company policies are crucial for success as a warehouse clerk. The environment is largely indoors, but temperatures inside of the warehouse setting may be extreme depending on the company's location. Hazards should be relatively minimal, but physical requirements include lifting and carrying heavy objects. Preferred skills include basic computer knowledge, forklift driving, interpersonal skills, and recordkeeping, along with the ability to follow safety rules and work under deadlines
Qualifications Education & Experience Required:
· 1-3 years of experience in Warehouse environment
· Be very familiar with shipping documentations/ Safety Management
· Ability to work with Microsoft Office
· Punctual, clean, meticulous and organized
· Must be able to move quickly and stand on feet or sit long hours
· Desirable High school diploma or GED
· Ability to lift up 50lbs
· Excellent attention to detail required
Duties, Authorities & Responsibilities:
· Clean and organize warehouse, equipment, and items in stock.
· Pull materials against orders, then assemble and pack them for delivery.
· Maintain and document equipment, security, and safety information.
· Supervise incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items.
· Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
