We are seeking highly organized and extremely detail-oriented individuals for a Sample Specialist position. It is a full-time position with benefits (PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k)
The Sample Specialist is responsible for assembling and fulfilling sample requests generated by website, email or phone calls. This role is designed to coordinate with sales assistants and project managers to ensure appropriate selections are made throughout the development of projects within the assigned team.

The Sample Specialist is responsible for assembling and fulfilling sample requests generated by website, email or phone calls. Your responsibilities will include the following (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
- Assembling requests each day and maintaining the team's sample queue.
- Communicate and fulfill customer's requests for samples while guiding them to the appropriate selections.
- Support customers in identifying material options by guiding their search based on usage, scope, timeline, customization, and alternative selections, ensuring the best fit for their criteria and design goals.
- Pulling, entering, packing and shipping sample requests.
- Requesting out-of-stock samples via requisitions and tracking them to fulfillment.
- Record creation and maintenance of projects, sample shipments, customers, and contacts through Netsuite.
- Sourcing material for projects as needed and documenting submittal samples and shipments.
- Performing routine project follow-up and maintenance duties.
- Assisting the Materials team with the replenishment and sample returns, inventory, and special projects as needed.
- Adheres to company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Perform other duties/special projects as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
- Must have a GED or high school diploma.
- Organization, time management skills, able to meet deadlines
- Strong independent problem-solving skills
- Good customer services and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of transactions
- PC / IOS proficiency and MS Office experience, Outlook, Word, Excel
