What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Attorney Associate position at Desh Law?
Busy immigration law practice seeking a motivated Entry–Mid Level Associate Attorney to join our team.
This role focuses primarily on representing clients in immigration court proceedings (both via WebEx and in person) and accompanying clients to USCIS interviews and appointments. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and comfortable handling client-facing responsibilities as well as the Court.
Prior immigration experience is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate with strong work ethic and interest in immigration law.
Responsibilities:
- Appear at immigration court hearings (WebEx and in person)
- Attend USCIS interviews and appointments with clients
- Communicate with clients and provide case updates
- Assist with case preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
- Interest in immigration law
