Desert Valley in Victorville, CA, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Hospitalist Physician to join our team as a Core Faculty member. This unique role combines patient care with the rewarding opportunity to educate and mentor the next generation of physicians.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Day Shift Hospitalist position with Academic and Leadership responsibilities
- Medical Director role with additional monthly stipend
- Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (required)
- Core Faculty appointment within the Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Responsible for rounding with residents and participating in resident didactics
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on quality improvement, patient safety, and operational initiatives
- Preferably okay doing procedures but not required.
- Open ICU.
- Traditional work schedule with protected administrative time for Medical Director duties Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) 1 weekend a month.
- The position is in Victorville, CA – around 45 minutes away from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
- Base salary starts at $250-275K.
- Semi-annual production bonus in addition to base salary.
- Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement for Full-Time.
- Open to J-1 Visa waiver sponsorship (Primary Care shifts required)
