Desert Valley in Victorville, CA, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Hospitalist Physician to join our team. This unique role combines patient care with the rewarding opportunity to educate and mentor the next generation of physicians.
Opportunity Highlights
- Will be employed by Desert Valley Medical Group, a multi-specialty group affiliated with Desert Valley Hospital.
- Day Shift Hospitalist with Academic opportunity.
- Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (required)
- Will work with Internal Medicine residents – Responsible for rounding with residents and serving as core faculty for Internal Medicine Residency Program.
- Preferably okay doing procedures.
- Must be also okay covering some shifts as Primary Care. (preferred)
- Open ICU.
- Traditional Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) 1 weekend a month.
- The position is in Victorville, CA – around 45 minutes away from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
- Base salary starts at $ 275,000.00/year.
- Semi-annual production bonus in addition to base salary.
- Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement for Full-Time .
- Open to J-1 Visa waiver sponsorship (Primary Care shifts required )

- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Valid California medical license or ability to obtain one
- Strong commitment to resident education and academic excellence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
