Job Summary
Under direction, assists certificated teachers in providing instruction and tutorial assistance to individual, small groups, and other learning environments. Monitors and reports student progress. Performs limited clerical duties related to the instructional program.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent and one (1) year demonstrated experience working with youth in an organized setting. Completion of two (2) years of higher education study OR possession of an Associate’s or higher level degree OR pass an assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics.
