Overview
We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our team at a Christian faith based preschool to be an on-call sub. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a licensed facility and be dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for preschool-aged and toddler students. Must have valid Fingerprint clearance card. The hours for this position will vary so the candidate will need to have flexible availability.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Engage in lesson plans that promote learning through play
- Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
Requirements
- Previous experience working in childcare or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
