Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Glendale, AZ, for a Mixer Driver at Desert Ready Mix. The Mixer Driver will be responsible for operating concrete mixer trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of ready mix concrete to job sites. Daily tasks include loading concrete, delivering it to specific locations, adhering to delivery schedules, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. The role also involves unloading concrete at designated sites and performing basic truck maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Knowledge and experience with operating and maintaining mixer trucks is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as unloading concrete, in varied work environments
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and commitment to safety
