DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Join our Missionary Medical team as a Membership Team Representative. In this temporary, 2 year full-time position, you'll coordinate enrollment and maintain insurance and HIPAA information for all Missionary Medical plans. You'll resolve membership-related issues by phone and email, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enrollment, insurance, and HIPAA-related needs for all plans using internal systems and reports (e.g., K2 Workflow, App Express Menu, Cypress, SIR tasks).
- Respond to member inquiries by phone and email regarding enrollment, insurance, and HIPAA needs.
- Provide clear, timely, and professional communication.
- Participate in team and department meetings; provide backup for department phone queues as needed.
Qualifications
- Training for competency in Amisys, Workflow, Appian, and Church systems (CDOL, RecEntry, Missionary Inquiry).
- Customer service expertise for all plans.
- Previous experience with health insurance plans/products in Missionary Medical, including Amisys transactions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with Medicare enrollment for senior missionaries.
- Exceptional follow-through, self-motivation, and accountability.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
Research and resolve customer service and enrollment issues using technology and creative solutions. Apply strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment & Schedule
Hybrid: Standard office location in Salt Lake Valley with remote work flexibility. Team members may split time between on-site and home office, supporting work/life balance and operational needs. Occasional in-person meetings or training may be required.
