We have multiple openings for a two-year Claims Processor to work on the Claims Team in the Member Services Department.
The Member Services Department administers various health and financial benefits to organizations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to all our valued customers including participants, providers, and employers.
Duties: This self-motivated associate will adjudicate medical and dental claims for Deseret Mutual participants.
Qualifications: Training, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Excellent data entry skills on web-based applications
- A strong attention for detail
- Good oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret processing problems
- Team player who is results oriented
- Basic PC skills
- Ability to work alone and with others
- Multi-task oriented
- Preferred medical or dental claims processing experience
- Preferred High School graduate or equivalent
- Preferred completion of a Medical Terminology Course
- Must reside within 2 hours of downtown Salt Lake City, UT.
Work Opportunity: This position requires a two-year, fixed-term service agreement and offers a flexible hybrid work model. Qualified candidates have the option to work remotely. At minimum, team members are required to work at the Salt Lake City home office every Thursday in addition to attending company and department meetings and events at various times throughout the year.
During the 12-week training program, you will initially spend a minimum of two weeks working at our home office, followed by the remaining training period on a hybrid work schedule for those who desire and qualify.
