HELP WANTED: Manufacturing Line Lead (Thermal Barrier Line)
Location: DeSCo Architectural, Inc.
DeSCo Architectural is looking for a driven, hands-on Manufacturing Line Lead to take ownership of our thermal barrier installation line. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to lead a small team while running specialized equipment, this role puts you right in the driver’s seat.
What You’ll Do
- Operate, set up, and maintain a thermal barrier installation line inserting polyamide struts into aluminum extrusions
- Lead and oversee a team of 2–3 team members
- Ensure product quality and consistency through strong attention to detail
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep the line running efficiently
- Follow and support lean manufacturing principles (training provided)
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
What You Bring
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and support a team
- High attention to detail (this is precision work—close counts, but perfect pays)
- Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to obtain/hold forklift and overhead crane certification
- Valid driver’s license
