In this hybrid role, you’ll help shape the technical vision of our backend systems, driving innovation through research and development, and contributing directly to the design and evolution of our platform. Based at our Sorel-Tracy office (with some flexibility to work remotely), you’ll collaborate closely with your team to solve complex challenges and deliver scalable, robust software.

- Contribute to the technical roadmap and implementation of backend systems.
- Document requirements, challenges, and technical decisions.
- Develop unit tests and conduct code reviews.
- Anticipate, evaluate, and resolve complex technical issues with pragmatic solutions.
- Follow established software development processes and procedures.
- Support software deployment and delivery.
- Collaborate with teammates to scale and maintain a complex codebase.
- Stay updated on relevant technological advances.
- Automate and simplify development workflows.
- College or university degree in software development—or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in C# and SQL.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Curiosity and interest in AI tools and their practical use in development.
- Experience with Docker environments.
- Familiarity with MS DevOps YAML pipelines.
- Experience with MSSQL or similar databases.
- Knowledge of .NET Core.
- Messaging systems such as MQTT or RabbitMQ.
- Scripting with PowerShell.
- Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
