The SPARK Pre-School Program in Community Consolidated School District 62 is seeking an early-childhood educator to work with pre-school students during the hours of 8:30-4:00.
Job Summary
The SPARK Pre-School Program is a program designed to provide positive beginning school experience for the 3-4 year old child. This programs supports students social, academic, language and fine/gross motor development
and prepares them with skills they need to be successful in kindergarten.
Applicants must be highly qualified; experience working in a pre-school setting preferred
Applicants must have 60 semester hrs early childhood college coursework.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
Compensation Information
The position starting salary is $17.00 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits.

- Work with Pre-school staff to provide instructional support for meeting the Early Learning Standards.
- Work with Pre-school staff as a collaborative member of the instructional team.
- Attend workshops and instructional meetings as necessary or assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building director.
