Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a full-time early-childhood educator to work with kindergarten students during the hours of 8:30-4:00 in the SPARK Extended Day Kindergarten Program at the Westerhold Early Learning Center.
Job Summary:
The SPARK Extended Day Kindergarten Program is a program designed to provide positive school experience for the kindergarten age child. This programs supports students social, academic, language and fine/gross motor development development
Qualifications:
Applicants must be highly qualified.
Applicants must have 60 semester hrs early childhood college coursework.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
Working Conditions:
Work with kindergarten staff to provide instructional support for meeting the Kindergarten Standards.
Work with kindergarten staff as a collaborative member of the instructional team.
Attend workshops and instructional meetings as necessary or assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the building director.

District 62 has approximately 4,700 students in grades preK-8 in 1 early learning center, 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 year-around, K-8 school.
Compensation Information:
This position is Monday-Friday 8:30 an - 4:00 pm and the pay rate is $17.00 per hour
