Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an Art Teacher at Cumberland Elementary School to cover for a leave of absence. The leave coverage will be from January 2026 though the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator Licence with appropriate endorsement. 3. ELL/ESL Endorsement is preferred. 4. Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.

Compensation Information:
District 62 substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if they hold a substitute license. After forty days in the same role, the rate is $254.07 per day retroactive to the first day. Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked. This position does not include benefits.
