Job Summary
Temporary, part-time adjunct instructor, Dental Hygiene.
Various Dental Hygiene courses.

Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and Bachelor’s degree.
3 years non-teaching related clinical work experience. Registered Dental Hygienist.
Ability to obtain Iowa Dental Hygienist license prior to start of employment.
BLS CPR Certified Healthcare Provider.
DHY 182, 282, 292, 302: DDS or DMD.
Registered Dentist. C
PR certified Health Care Worker.
3 years non-teaching related clinical work experience. Registered Dental Hygienist.
Ability to obtain Iowa Dental Hygienist license prior to start of employment.
BLS CPR Certified Healthcare Provider.
DHY 182, 282, 292, 302: DDS or DMD.
