Sourcing Specialist
Location: Remote
Compensation: $40,000/year Base Uncapped Commission (Expected first-year earnings: $50,000–$65,000)
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, accountable Sourcing Specialist to join our small but fast-growing team. This is a key role supporting our recruiters and account managers by identifying strong candidates, conducting pre-screens, initiating onboarding, and submitting qualified talent for open positions.
This position is fully remote and best suited for someone who excels in a start-up environment—self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow a long-term career in the staffing industry. The right candidate will be able to ramp up quickly and begin earning commission early.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify qualified candidates for light industrial, manufacturing, and construction roles across multiple states
- Conduct initial pre-screens to confirm experience, availability, and job fit
- Initiate the onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation and system steps are completed
- Submit qualified candidates to account managers and lead recruiters with accurate, concise notes
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of talent to support weekly placement goals
- Track all communication, activity, and submissions within the ATS
- Meet daily/weekly sourcing and productivity goals
- Collaborate closely with recruiters and account managers to understand job requirements and priority roles
- Uphold a high level of accountability, follow-through, and communication—especially in a remote environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sourcing, recruiting, or a high-volume customer-facing role preferred
- Strong ability to identify and assess candidate qualifications
- Comfortable working independently with clear expectations and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and confident navigating an ATS and online tools

Additional Responsibilities:
* Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.

* Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.

* Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.

* Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
* Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
* Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
* Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
* Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
* Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes.
