Shift: 1st Shift (8–10 hours); potential for 2nd or 3rd shift availability.

We are seeking a safety-conscious and reliable sit down Forklift Operator to join our team in a food-grade warehouse environment. If you have a proven track record of longevity and a "safety-first" mindset, we want to hear from you.
Your primary role will be to ensure the accurate and safe movement of inventory while maintaining strict food safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the exact quantity and product type are ready.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently handle inbound and outbound shipments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Locate and re-locate merchandise to optimize warehouse space; maintain precise records of all movements.
- Safety & Equipment: Operate sit-down forklifts and attachments safely to prevent injury or damage; perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Facility Care: Support warehouse cleanliness, sanitation, pest control, and food safety protocols.
- Communication: Coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional sit-down forklift experience.
- Work History: Must demonstrate job longevity and a stable employment record.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math, and PC skills.
- Safety Record: Clean operating history with no accidents.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and frequently mount/dismount the forklift.
- Must pass a Physical, Drug Test, and a CRT (Physical Stress Test).
- Background: Must pass a 7-year background check.
