Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician in Moline, IL
Job Overview
We are hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping equipment, machinery, and the facility running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable responding to both planned maintenance and unexpected issues.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (3 day weekends)
- Full-time, 40 hours per week- Paid weekly.
- Earn PTO first day of work and use after 60 days
- Occasional evenings, weekends, or call-ins may be required
- $25-$30 DOE

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical machines and equipment to reduce downtime
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on machines, motors, belts, drives, and facility systems
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time
- Inspect equipment, forklifts, and safety systems as scheduled
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions
- Take apart equipment to replace or repair worn or damaged parts
- Communicate with supervisors and other departments when work is completed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with general building and grounds maintenance as needed
- Respond to maintenance calls after hours or on weekends when required
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work overtime or respond to emergency maintenance situations
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified is a plus
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with noise, dust, fumes, and moving equipment
- Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
