CNC Grinder/Machine Operator - Temp-to-Hire
Davenport, IA | Starting Pay: $16-$19/hr DOE
Shifts Available: 2nd (3 PM - 11 PM) & 3rd (11 PM - 7 AM) Monday-Friday
The Role:
Join an employee-owned metal tool manufacturer specializing in drill bits and metal parts. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position operating modern CNC machines (grinders/machinists) to produce high-quality precision products.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare, operate, and monitor CNC machines for fluting operations.
- Read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Load materials and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain open communication with the team.
- Have great longevity and current resume.
Requirements:
- CNC machining experience is preferred, but training is provided for mechanically inclined candidates with machine operating experience and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must pass a national background check and drug test.
