Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Oskaloosa, IA. You will work inside a food-grade warehouse to load/unload trailers, move, store, and count merchandise, ensuring safety, security, productivity, and food safety standards, document properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, equipment, and attachments to move materials.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Locate and relocate merchandise to maximize warehouse space.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and record material movements.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Help maintain warehouse cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and warehouse supervisors
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse forklift experience listed on your resume
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a CRT stress test, physical, and drug screen
- Ability to pass a 7-year national criminal background check
- Ability to lift 50 to 60 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, and regularly get on and off a forklift
- Basic math and computer skills
