Position Overview
We are hiring Electrical Apprentices to assist with electrical installation on construction projects around the Naperville, Illinois area.
The primary focus of this position will be measuring, bending, installing, and running EMT conduit. This is a strong opportunity for electrical apprentices who have commercial or multifamily construction experience and want to continue developing their skills.
Responsibilities
- Measure, bend, cut, and install EMT conduit
- Assist with installing electrical boxes, supports, and related materials
- Pull wire and assist with electrical rough-in work
- Read basic measurements and follow project layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and conduit-bending equipment
- Follow instructions from journeymen and project supervisors
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Previous electrical construction experience preferred
- Experience running or bending EMT conduit strongly preferred
- Familiarity with commercial or multifamily electrical work
- Ability to use basic electrical and construction tools
- Ability to work from ladders and perform physical construction work
- Reliable transportation to the Naperville Illinois Area
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Basic hand tools and appropriate work boots required
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required
Compensation
Pay ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on electrical experience, conduit-bending ability, tools, and overall qualifications.
