Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance of electrical systems across multiple product lines, including centrifuge and vibrating motor systems. The role is primarily focused on ensuring electrical compliance with responsibility for meeting and maintaining UL/CE/ATEX and IECEx standards across all product lines. In addition to supporting core engineering activities, the candidate will serve as the product champion for the centrifuge line, driving product performance, innovation, and cross-functional alignment. This role involves collaboration with mechanical teams, production support, and vendor coordination to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure UL/CE/ATEX/IECEx electrical compliance for all relevant products.
- Act as internal “Responsible Person”, sign certificates of conformance, etc.
- UL/ATEX file and drawing maintenance.
- Participate in new mechanical compliance projects as needed.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Product champion for electrical systems: Centrifuge and vibrating motor.
- New and existing projects.
- Tech service support.
- Production engineering support.
- Electric panel design.
- Obsolete component replacement.
- Other duties as required, but not limited to:
- Assist production engineering teams and R&D teams with electrical projects as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to manage internal inventory.
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure proper electrical integration.
- Asist commercial engineering with costing estimation and pricing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Experience in drafting and modeling (AutoCAD or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of electrical controls, circuits, schematics, and components.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with UL/CE/ATEX compliance requirements.
