Job Description:
Derrick Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our painting team while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. The Industrial Painter performs surface preparation and applies primer, paint, and urethane coatings using spray equipment, verifies finished products meet specifications, follows standardized work instructions, and maintains consistent process and quality controls.

Responsibilities:
- Perform painting preparation tasks including masking, caulking, and wash booth operations
- Spray primer, paint, and urethane onto end products
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
- Operate a forklift and crane periodically throughout the shift, as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and deadlines
- Monitor processes to identify and resolve any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to complete tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior paint experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position which includes frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, climbing, standing, pushing/pulling, and walking
- Positive attitude
- Teamwork skills
- Driver’s license highly preferred
