Position Summary:
Derrel’s Mini Storage, Inc. is looking for a full-time General Office Worker. Under the general direction of the Controller and direction of the Assistant Controller, the General Office Worker is responsible for providing back-up reception duties and general office support to personnel supporting the operations and construction departments at the main corporate office in Fresno during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Answering phone calls and routing calls to the appropriate personnel
- Providing accurate information and excellent customer service to all customers and vendors
- Provides back-up support to the accounting and construction departments to include filing, copying, calling vendors, data entry, and other general office duties such as receiving, sorting and distributing mail and packages
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of clerical/administrative support experience with stable past employment history
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced professional office environment
- History of positive work performance and attendance
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal communication skills, articulation, grace under pressure, and good attitude
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to sit or stand for 8-hours a day
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking
- Five years of clerical/administrative support experience
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
