Histology Technician
The Histology Technician plays a critical part in preparing, processing, and analyzing tissue samples that support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in histological techniques, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining precision and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work.
Responsibilities Include
ASCP
The Histology Technician plays a critical part in preparing, processing, and analyzing tissue samples that support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in histological techniques, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining precision and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist the Provider in welcoming the patient and supports the Provider in providing excellent care
- Patient intake
- Cutting slides
- Assisting in the MOHS Lab
- Preparing materials for the Provider
- Preparing and handling medical supplies, instruments and specimens
- Keeping the facility and equipment clean and tidy
- Other duties as deemed necessary.
