Title: Commercial Service Manager - Sales & Marketing
Job Summary:
Direct management responsibility for Customer Service/Product Specialists and Estimators for all Deringer Ney factories and products. This role requires frequent communication with other DNI functional areas (accounting, shipping, planning, quality, NPI, operations) and a strong focus on customer support, problem resolution and significant interaction with the Marketing and Regional Sales team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervision
- Manage Customer Service / Product Specialists by providing on-going training and ensuring effective communication.
- Assign work to Customer Service / Product Specialists, ensure a smooth workflow and balance account load across team members.
- Manage estimators, and their workflows to ensure part costing occurs in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. Develop and present margin calculations to Marketing and advise/support pricing decisions.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals.
- Hire, train, promote as necessary to ensure smooth operation and limit resource constraints.
- Understand all commercial process flows at DNI factories and harmonize practices.
- Ensure sufficient documentation and standard work is developed to reflect procedures for Customer Service and Estimation.
- Utilize ERP, CRM, and other tools as needed to perform duties.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage and modify customer requested delivery schedules.
- Manage quotation/estimating process.
- Contract/Order Review and order entry preparation.
- Responsible for production progress monitoring, expediting, and reporting to customers.
- Manage metal locks accounts / pool metal accounts for major customers.
- Retain some major customer accounts, estimate select parts as required.
- Function as expert on M2M Order Systems.
- Support QSM audits.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Professional sales communication and presentation skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office skills.
- Technical/analytical aptitude and capability.
- Working knowledge of customer drawings/prints.
- ISO knowledge and understanding.
- Drawing/blueprint reading skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Experience & Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Business understanding (cost structures, margin requirements, inventory management).
- M2M System Expertise (advanced/expert capabilities).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to DNI factories several times per year or as needed.
