Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. We are also open to a candidate who is interested in learning to become a dog groomer.
50-50 compensation. You choose how many dogs to groom per day
The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of pets. This role requires hands-on experience with various breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
- Handle animals with care, utilizing skills in animal handling and restraint to ensure a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
Qualifications
- Interested in training to become a groomer
- Proven experience in pet grooming is ideal
- Strong skills in animal handling, including dog handling, animal care, and kennel experience.
- Familiarity with various breeds' grooming requirements and techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy animals safely as needed during grooming sessions.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
