Job Duties

Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking a Nutrition Service Aide.

• Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts as required by the SBVCC Culinary Department.
• Must be available to work weekends as needed (please note that, at times, employees may be required to work consecutive weekends).

• Assist in the dining room to support the residents as necessary.
• Prepares food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications.
• Deliver meal carts/trays to residents, wash pot and pans, assist in the preparation and the assembly of food trays and waste removal.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in food services/nutrition services.

Additional Considerations

• Experience working in a long-term care facility or hospital.
