Job Description:
- Assist students transition throughout the building
- Assist with monitoring student reading instruction
- Meet with students the foyer before and after school at Cayuga
- Monitoring students for toileting needs
- Assistance with toileting as needed
- Assist classroom teacher with additional tasks as requested
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children, maintain order and ensure that school regulations are followed.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administration and staff.
- Good power of observation and dependability
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities Understanding and respect for confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
- Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2).
