What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher Aide position at Depew UFSD?
Job Description:
- Assist students' transition throughout the building.
- Assist with monitoring students during reading instruction.
- Meet with students at the bus before and after school.
- Monitoring students for toileting needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children; maintain order and enforce school regulations.
- Ability to get along with teachers, administrators and staff.
- Good power of observation; dependability; neat personal appearance; tact; courtesy; and good judgment.
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
- Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2)
