Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with all regulations. A successful Truck Driver will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks and tow trucks, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and inspections.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles as required, demonstrating proficiency in various driving conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during transportation.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Familiarity with flatbed trucking operations is a plus.
- Proven ability to load and unload cargo safely, using appropriate equipment.
