Position Overview
The DCW Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the Direct Care Worker Program, including onboarding, scheduling, training, competency oversight, documentation, and coordination with clinical and office staff.
The DCW Coordinator also serves as a liaison with ALTCS case managers and helps ensure services are delivered according to authorization requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain current schedules and availability for all DCWs
Communicate scheduling changes and updates to DCWs
Review and verify timesheets for accuracy and timely submission
Monitor and maintain an accurate client census
Coordinate DCW assignments with the Office Manager
Enter payroll information accurately and ensure timely processing
Obtain service authorizations and ensure services remain within authorized guidelines
Track DCW training, testing, certifications, and competency requirements
Assist with billing and care management data entry
Ensure compliance with Arizona DCW regulations and required reporting, including OIG, SAM, and APS
Complete and submit Non-Provision of Service
