Your Role
As a Home Health SLP, you’ll play a key role in helping patients regain their speech and language abilities, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home evaluations and assess speech/language function, adapting to the home environment
- Develop personalized care plans that address specific speech/language deficits
- Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and/or equipment
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to create a cohesive care plan
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support patient success
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA certification)
- Active SLP certification to practice
- Minimum of one year’s clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with an insured vehicle in good condition
