At A Glance:

B.S. or B.A. in business administration, sales, or marketing (or three years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry)
Proven experience as an Account Executive or in other sales/customer service role
Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles a plus
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Oahu Sales Manager, responsible for retaining and growing existing revenue streams
Develop a pipeline of new sales and tactical opportunities with assigned accounts
Collaborate with the Sales and Operations team to develop robust account plans and ensure accounts are supported
Manage relationships and partnerships with existing customers to achieve sales targets
Assist with contract negotiation and ongoing contract management
Develop and execute a strategy for each customer to maximize revenue.
Customer visitations as per the servicing plan
Participate in gap reviews involving relevant customers
Ongoing monitoring of market trends, customer performance, revenue contribution, and growth
Keep the DHX management team informed of communications with customers and industry developments
Effectively represent DHX internally and externally including participation at relevant industry functions and conferences
Build a culture of high performance within the sales team including sharing and developing best practices and effectively contributing to building knowledge within the team
Other duties as assigned or directed
