Project Manager / Estimator – Construction

Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, analyzing requirements, and coordinating closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
The Project Manager/Estimator will oversee all phases of construction projects—from planning and estimation to scheduling, execution, and final delivery—while maintaining clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and proven experience in construction estimation and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine scope.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to collect pricing and project data.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution.
- Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate project progress and requirements.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and needs effectively with managers, team members, and clients.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for internal and client review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for estimation processes and project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Management, Budgeting, and Construction Estimating.
- Strong skills in Project Estimation, analysis, and forecasting.
- Specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Solid knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred—but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Prior experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or related construction role strongly preferred.
